• Remove the wire spring from the top of the tong and loosen the wing nut. • Place your crucible into the jaws of the holder and slide the holder to secure its place. • Tighten wing nut before introducing to heat. • Tongs provided with a sprung wire with metal triangle to hold shoe crucibles also.
